Victoria’s England

What was it really like, what was Victoria really like?

First let me make mention that some amazing reforms occurred during Victoria and Albert’s rule. I am absolutely fascinated by Victoria a little bit. I think she was an exceptional queen, did an amazing amount of reforms, but what was life like in Victorian England, between underage minor children, chimney sweeps, prostitution in that time, disease, and her Royal Highness Herself Victoria. 🙂
[Her reign of 63 years and seven months, which is longer than that of any other British monarch and the longest of any female monarch in history, is known as the Victorian era. It was a period of industrial, cultural, political, scientific, and military change within the United Kingdom, and was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire]

[Victoria was christened privately by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Charles Manners-Sutton, on 24 June 1819 in the Cupola Room at Kensington Palace.[2] She was baptised Alexandrina, after one of her godparents, Emperor Alexander I of Russia, and Victoria after her mother. Additional names proposed by her parents—Georgina (or Georgiana), Charlotte and Augusta—were dropped on the instructions of the Duke’s elder brother, the Prince Regent (later George IV).[3]]
Victoria with a Vengeance

To rule in such a time period, in any time period, you would have to have a strength of character, that would be hard or difficult to find in any time period.

Her youth and childhood was less than perfect, after her father died, her mother was remained with his debts to look after. They were afforded a place to stay, rooms at Kensington Palace, which was not as Palatial as it is now.

The article I was reading actually refers to her childhood as the impoverished Princess. She was this little girl with 4 individuals ahead of her, however she is the person, she is the one, who would become Queen.

Her childhood was spent at Kensington Palace, but it was not quite the palace it was then, upon her fathers debt, her mothers had to decide if she should return to Germany, or stay in the U.K., she decided to stay in the U.K, and with the assistance of the state at the time, they were given a place to stay at Kensignton Palace.

She grew up under an unhappy Kensigton System, which she hated, she became Queen at 18, but there may well have been some deeply unhappy, and quite possibly lonely years in between. Even with family around her, because it was after all Victoria’s mothers second marriage, and Victoria was her third issue.

As mentioned she created a variety of reforms, during her rule, but the most interesting reform, was moving John Conroy, and her mother to their own situations, the moment she became Queen, or had the capacity to do so.

[ At Ramsgate in October 1835, Victoria contracted a severe fever, which Conroy initially dismissed as a childish pretence.[20] While Victoria was ill, Conroy and the Duchess unsuccessfully badgered her to make Conroy her private secretary.[21] As a teenager, Victoria resisted persistent attempts by her mother and Conroy to appoint him to her staff.[22] Once queen, she banned him from her presence, but he remained in her mother’s household.[23]]

Had Victoria not held out, they may have well have created a regency. Victoria had to be a bit of a bad ass to survive. Sorry to phrase it that way, but she must have been pretty cool for her time period, strong willed, and the exact person for such a time.

I think at times she would have been thunderstruck, but just how things function, and that even when one get’s into the situation, things are not always what they seem. She was Queen and yet she still had her fathers debts to pay off, when she married Albert, they had to do normal house remodellings, even though their house, was a lovely, newly built Castle. Buckingham house, had became Buckingham Palace, and she was the newest residence.

Her marriage to Albert seems to have been a happy beacon in a life that was less than ordinary, but that is not as glamorous as some might have you believe. She suffered assassination attempts, one early on in her reign, she suffered, reputation ruin, for an error, she likely did not intend to make.

[At the start of her reign Victoria was popular,[40] but her reputation suffered in an 1839 court intrigue when one of her mother’s ladies-in-waiting, Lady Flora Hastings, developed an abdominal growth that was widely rumoured to be an out-of-wedlock pregnancy by Sir John Conroy.[41] Victoria believed the rumours.[42] She hated Conroy, and despised “that odious Lady Flora”,[43] because she had conspired with Conroy and the Duchess of Kent in the Kensington System.[44] At first, Lady Flora refused to submit to a naked medical examination, until in mid-February she eventually agreed, and was found to be a virgin.[45] Conroy, the Hastings family and the opposition Tories organised a press campaign implicating the Queen in the spreading of false rumours about Lady Flora.[46] When Lady Flora died in July, the post-mortem revealed a large tumour on her liver that had distended her abdomen.[47] At public appearances, Victoria was hissed and jeered as “Mrs. Melbourne”]

Even after becoming Queen, it was not always the ball of wine and roses, that many might have imagined it to be. As mentioned, her and Albert, had situations to take care of, one of which was Buckingham Palace, which they refinanced, and paid of, during the course of their lives. Also later Victoria, Albert, and family would very wisely invest in properties, Such as Sanding ham, Osbourne House, and Balmoral Castle.

When Victoria complained to Melbourne that her mother’s close proximity promised “torment for many years”, Melbourne sympathised but said it could be avoided by marriage, which Victoria called a “schocking [sic] alternative”.[53] She showed interest in Albert’s education for the future role he would have to play as her husband, but she resisted attempts to rush her into wedlock.[54]
They were well suited for each other, had a very suitable marriage, nine children later. They had a veracious appetite towards each other, and it was a suitable outcome. After they refinanced Buckingham Palace, and had aspects of it remodeled, it was a much more suitable location for them as well.

[Buckingham Palace finally became the principal royal residence in 1837, on the accession of Queen Victoria,[28] who was the first monarch to reside there as her predecessor William IV had died before its completion.[29] While the state rooms were a riot of gilt and colour, the necessities of the new palace were somewhat less luxurious. For one thing, it was reported the chimneys smoked so much that the fires had to be allowed to die down, and consequently the court shivered in icy magnificence.[30] Ventilation was so bad that the interior smelled, and when a decision was taken to install gas lamps, there was a serious worry about the build-up of gas on the lower floors. It was also said that the staff were lax and lazy and the palace was dirty.[30] Following the Queen’s marriage in 1840, her husband, Prince Albert, concerned himself with a reorganisation of the household offices and staff, and with the design faults of the palace. The problems were all rectified by the close of 1840. However, the builders were to return within the decade.]
They had 20 lovely years together, during which time, they were a variety of reforms, including reforms to slavery in the colonies, during her time period, there were 1 in 5 females working as prostitutes, evidently, unruly Victorian era children, and a world of other happenings.

What I can say about Victoria in readings, and responsibilities is that she has earned, my respect. For her time, she was as bad as they come, meaning good, she was tough enough to deal with the issues of her day, she reigned supreme for some time, soft enough to be a wife and a mother, sad enough to mourn for Albert, whom she loved and lost, and is said that someday she will return at a time when England needed her the most.

The last portion is a bit of myth, but myths become legend, I am clear, that if Victoria ever came back, she would do it in a way that was unexpected, she would arrive as a guy, or she would arrive through a family situation, or a bloodline situation that was fully unexpected. She would never return as the one that you are thinking of, and so would likely face a variety of the same struggles. I also do not think that she would marry into her situation, I think she would return in a way that would put her in line with the throne, but I doubt it would be in a way that was expected, or that would even make sense. If Victoria ever returned, it would be like the return of the mummy, if she was ever unleashed again, it would be in a way that would not make sense, and would be so, unexpected.

Don’t expect to find her on a list of the 1st one hundred to inhert the throne, she would likely be off that list, she could arrive from anywhere in the world, but in a way that would enable her to arrive back into her situation, and if she did, maybe this time, things could be in the correct situation. Wherever you are Victoria, if you are out there, Welcome Back, Victoria. She will never arrive back the way you think, so don’t look for her in ‘Royal baby situations’, she would not be there.

Gang Stalking and poverty

I think I understand a bit more about some communities and why they function the way they do. See as Targeted Individuals we sort of a minority in society, meaning not too many people listen to our concerns, complaints, cries, etc.

Many see targets as crazy and so it’s ok to abuse them. What many of us experience in our daily lives is like living in a sort of war zone, and many just don’t or can’t understand this simply because it’s just not their experience. So they expect the normal societal rules to apply to us, but they just don’t.

Till they experience what we experience, they can’t understand why a target might lash out, get angry. Why a target might act in way, or take actions that many find unacceptable. They do not live in the reality that we do, but they still expect the same rules to apply. We face a type of war zone in many ways, they do not. Our survival is a struggle, for many they just have the normal things to live with, their lives are not being systemically destroyed.

I think I just gained some insight into poor and disadvantaged communities. They too live differently than the rest of society. The conditions that many poor live in and the daily circumstances and conditions are not the same as the rest of society live in, and until you are in their situations and circumstances, you can not judge their actions, or choices that they make.

The person I was several years ago is not the same person that I am today, how could it be if I expect to survive. I have had to learn new rules, and change how I live, because the situation is that critical. How many average people have to take their important docs with them all the time? How many have to come back to their home and worry about home entries, or break in’s while they were out? How many have to worry about home entries while they are asleep? How many have to worry about food being poisoned? How many have to worry about being sprayed with chemicals? Gasing, poisoning? How many have to learn to shield their bodies so that they won’t be burnt while they try to sleep, acoustically attacked and manipulated? How many have had to go through trauma like that for a day, a week, a month, years, decades? Not too many people that I can think of. A lot of targets end up being hypervigilant, some even have symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after being targeted for so many months or years.

As targets we have to have different rules to survive, different ways of living. Going to the police is often not an option. Finding people to care about our cause often does not happen, cause they would rather blame us, and believe that we have done something, deserving or worthy of our actions, or that we are somehow mentally ill, and that these conditions are deserving and worthy of us. I don’t think the same way that I did a few years ago. I don’t trust state powers, I understand and believe that there is indeed a global agenda, for a united world. I think sometimes the only way to come to a place of understanding is to live a specific situation.

Years ago many would have been of the opinion that the police are your friends, but now in today’s society with so many clips of misconduct, and or brutal arrests of citizens, many are revising that opinion and worry that the police might not be performing the same roles, that they were known for years ago.

I think that being poor and socially disadvantaged is different. I think that is why some people live by different rules, their experiences are different, and so is it fair to judge and apply the same rules to others, who’s day in day out is so vastly different than your own?

Eg. Some people live in communities with high drugs, crime, prostitution, unemployment, higher mortality rates, lower standards of living, etc. Then the rest of society want to apply wall street or corporate rules to communities like that, it just does not work that way. People adapt to their living circumstances, and when your daily living is worrying about wither the police will shoot your son, wither your child will be prostituted out, or become a drug dealer, or if you will get a job, or if your spouse will get out of jail, or if your kid will go to jail, you are going to have different values and rules that you live by if you want to survive. You are not in a war zone with bullets flying by, or (actually some people are, in poor communities, and they also have airplanes overhead.) ok maybe they don’t have grenades, but the point is, their lives are like a mini war zone of another kind, and so people that are disadvantaged in that way, may well not act, think, respond like every other member of society. We don’t have the same living, economic, social conditions for everyone, but we have the same societal rules for everyone, and that is just not always going to work. The rules should be reflective of the social conditions that people find themselves in, standards of living, and societal norms for their area.

I think being a Targeted Individual has given me a bit of perspective into the lives of others. In Stasi Germany, you did not talk your business to anyone, you trusted no one, you minded your own business, and the society became very closed off that way, but that is what it took to survive, many did not want to live that way, but the chance in behavior was necessary for survival.

Some of us as Targets learn that you protect your data the best way that you can, that you don’t give out your private details, and to be very guarded. Targets mentally go through degrading, dehumanizing things, that other people just don’t see or have to experience.

A poster on Youtube just posted a delightful comment. I don’t know if this is something that happened to them directly, but it’s fully possible.

Does the threat assessment team decides who places the bodily fluids inside the targets home. Like semen inside a glass? or urine on the floor?

I mean I get people writing in with unpleasant things like this all the time, people who have have been sexually assaulted, all sorts of sick things. I was just reading one woman’s blog, and how she had to learn to accept the fact that they were watching her. As she dressed, she talked about how violating it was, comments they would make about her anatomy, but then she had to learn to try to get on with her life. Lot’s of targets have come to the realization that yeah they probably see ya naked, and it’s no better for men than women, because everyone values their privacy, unless you are an exhibitionist. I encounter stories like this, people leaving water in a child’s diabetic medicine etc. Targets live in mini pscyo, social experiments. Mini war zones if you will, they experience things that others just do not go through, and it’s day in, day out. These Threat Assessment Teams basically give an all out access to our persons, and horrendous things happen to targets, and it’s really unfair. So I understand a little bit more about what others go through, and I understand when you are a soldier in a war zone, the normal societal rules, and trappings just do not apply, well the same holds true for targets, who daily are psychologically ravaged, day in and day out. It’s truly unacceptable, but I now also realise that for years, others have been going through other types of mini war zones, where survival is also not assured, and they have learnt different set’s of rules for survival, but then the same rules are suppose to apply to everyone and they just can’t, and they should not. Till there is some level of equality in standards of living, then it’s not fair to expect the same actions, or outcomes.

MJ makes sainthood

What a crock. Not that Michael Jackson made sainthood, but the fact that the world is as hypocritical as you can get. I think it’s finally gotten to me, on an elemental level.

I just can’t take the world that seriously anymore. One person on one of these forums was saying how hypocritical it all was. I think they said something along the line of Jesus when he want into Jerusalem, he had people spreading palm leaves and worshiping him, and many of those same people a few days later were crucifying him, or standing there while he was crucified.

The person on that forum, went on to say that a few days before his death, many people did not want to touch Micheal Jackson with a 10 foot pole. They were still making jokes about him being a pedophile, and most would not even give him the time of day, and suddenly he dies and it’s all different.

Well not to worry, right after dying it was sort of the same for Jesus. I was learning about some of the stuff that Michael had gone through. Do you know that he felt that there was a conspiracy against him? I read that he paid to have a voodoo witch doctor curse some people. It’s hard for me to believe that someone of his caliber could be so demonized by this world, but he was, and the chances are good that he was not guilty.

Don’t get me wrong, some really did believe that he had harmed children. I had always left that at undecided, but I felt that he had not. However I always gave him the benefit of the doubt. I did think however it was a good idea that he stopped hanging around kids that were not his, not because he was not a good person, but because when you are good, it’s easy for the world to take advantage.

His situation, and what a I found out, really solidified some things for me. Not that I don’t see what the world is capable of on a daily basis, but knowing what the world could and did do to someone like him, kinda really put’s things in perspective for me.

The world is a funny place, I think I will leave it at that. They demoralize and crucify that which is not there’s. They don’t understand someone with a child like mentally, and because most of the world is corrupted, they assume that everyone else must be the same thing. I have not found anything that would lead me to believe that he was a pedophile. Most of what I read was rumours, gossip, people taking events that happened on the surface and not looking at the bigger story, the articles that I read about his accusers lead me to believe that it was not true, and extortion played a great role in the first case, and and the secondary case was also someone trying to extort money.

MJ was as big as you could get in this world, well close enough, and yet the world was able to leave him, in poverty at times, hopeless, depressed, and just broken. I am not going to pretend to be a huge Michael Jackson fan. I liked his music, I thought he was a great artist, but that’s about it. What made me go looking for truth after his death was a need to know the truth.

For me I feel how I felt before, but more so. I don’t think he was what the world said about him. I am still open to hearing evidence if there is such out there, but for me, what I read leads me to believe very strongly that he might have been set up, and there might have been a conspiracy initially for money, and then other factors took over, or if you read the transcripts, there might have been other factors from the get go, and for once, I just don’t want to know.

What I do know about his life after the accusations, is pretty sad. What I learnt about what the world did to him, on a spiritual, financial and emotional level is more than I needed or wanted to know. For once I think this world has truly been put into perspective for me.

The world vs Jesus. Nicknamed king of the Jews, praised by some, but crucified by many others. Crucified and died, and then worsphipped after death.

Michael Jackson vs the world. MJ also nicknamed king of pop. Crucified and demonized, by the world for a large part of his later life. Now dead, yet worshipped after death.

It’s like the world just can not appreciate the good when it’s given it, it always has to destroy that which is not like it, or that which it does not understand.

The world is a funny, and hypocritical place.

Anyways, I truly hope that Michael can finally rest in peace. I hope his soul has found some kind of better harbour. I hope.
